Isaiah 63:2-4

² Why is your ^(A)apparel red,
    and your garments like his ^(B)who treads in the wine press?
^3 (C)“I have trodden the wine press alone,
    ^(D)and from the peoples no one was with me;
I trod them in my anger
    and trampled them in my wrath;
their lifeblood^[a] spattered on my garments,
    and stained all my apparel.
^4 (E)For the day of vengeance was in my heart,
    and my year of redemption^[b] had come.
